New & Improved Wireless Internet Access For Hotel Guests

After a considerable amount of in-depth research and development, Netmania IT is proud to introduce ‘Wi-Fi 2’ – the latest development of the ‘Net2Guest’ product which incorporates a range of innovative features as outlined below:
- Multi-session vouchers
- Three button voucher printer (currently in the final production stages)
- Dedicated administration portal
- New and improved remote technical support for hotel guests
Multi-Session Vouchers

As with the existing single session vouchers, guests will be able to purchase vouchers for 1 hour, 4 hours or 24 hours of internet access.
In this way, guests are not limited to accessing the internet on a specific day but can spread their usage over several days until their voucher time has run out. Of course the multi-session vouchers are most appropriate for the 4 hour and 24 hour vouchers due to the length of internet access time
granted by these vouchers.

Three Button Voucher Printer

We are currently in the final stages of producing the prototype of a voucher printer which we are looking to introduce across hotels, B&Bs and guesthouses all over the world. The custom-made device will enable those in the hospitality industry to print off internet access vouchers in-situ at their convenience, and of course at the convenience of their guests.
The printer has specifically been designed so as to be as user-friendly as possible. As the name suggests, the device has three buttons which correspond to the three different internet voucher time lengths which can be sold: 1 hour, 4 hours and 24 hours. In this way, all that the hotel staff need to do is to select the amount of internet time which the guest wishes to purchase and press the relevant button to print off the corresponding voucher required – it really is that simple.

Dedicated Administration Portal
In direct response to the invaluable feedback we’ve received from our clients in the hospitality industry, we are delighted to launch a brand new portal to provide hotel staff with an online administrative tool to manage the internet vouchers which have been generated by the hotel.
One feature of this new portal is a ‘Reporting’ tab which allows hotel managers to view all of the vouchers (both used and unused) between a specific date range. In this way, they can keep track of how many vouchers have been created over any given period of time. Below is a screenshot to show how this reporting feature appears on-screen:

Another clever feature of the new portal is that it enables users to check the status of any vouchers which have been generated by the hotel staff. This is a simple process, all users need to do is enter the voucher number to go through to a screen which gives information about the voucher’s status. While the three button printer is the perfect solution to lost vouchers or depleted stock levels, we understand that from time to time hotels require an emergency backup system, (for example, if the printer’s ticket roll runs out and the hotel has no more reels in stock and is awaiting delivery), this is exactly why the new dedicated administration portal gives hotel staff the ability to generate vouchers online and print them in real time for immediate use by guests staying at the hotel. New & Improved Remote Technical Support for Guests
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality Wi-Fi support to the hospitality industry, we have further developed our Wi-Fi helpdesk systems so that we can resolve any issues which hotel guests may have with their internet access vouchers as quickly and efficiently as possible. The changes mean that our support team will be able to see in greater detail exactly what is happening with guests’ internet access as they talk to them over the phone. They will be able to re-set voucher codes if a guest has lost their voucher(s) as well as credit vouchers at their discretion if guests have experienced any problems.
The ultimate aim of this improved support network is to further improve the experience which guests have during their stay, which will in turn boost the likelihood of return stays and actively encourage word-of-mouth promotion.
